Does it matter if I try to figure it out?

Layne knows he’s important to me. It doesn’t really matter if he knows the extent of it or not, because nothing is going to change. At least, I don’t see anything changing, unless it’s for the worse, of course. I can see that, the worst possible rifts happening between us and the band, but that’s nothing new. All I see is negativity. I try not to, but, it’s always there.

I liked being the one to look after you. It gratified me to feel like I was the one who understood what you needed, who knew how to coax you off the ledge. I liked thinking that you trusted me to notice when something was wrong. That was before the junk had you by the throat.

Stone is awkward around an almost naked Layne but it's all in the name of friendship and helping out so he soldiers on, then things take an unexpected turn when they get wet (literally)

" Atleast theres a bed." Chris reassured Jerry. They were both still soaking wet.

" Yeah, one bed..." Jerry scoffed and covered his face with his hands.

" I mean, I dont bite-"

" Chris, stop talking."
