"She knew people had a lot of tags to describe Dave, each one emphasizing his rough personality. Maybe they were true, but behind them she just could see a hurt soul who just wanted affection."
Thoughts of Doro and Dave about their relationship during the 1988 tour.
1989 - Sierra Nevada mountain range of Central California
His water bottle tumbles out of his backpack.
Dave watches it bounce end over end down the slab, ricocheting off a ledge and down a vast embankment beyond the edge of the path. It isn't hard to draw a parallel between its fate and that of his own as his fingers grip, sweaty, onto the only holds he can see.
If they could even be considered holds.
This story is complete, even though it shows as WIP!
An awful nightmare about her childhood causes Doro to wake up with a mental breakdown, so Dave helps her to sleep.
Trying to cheer up a very down Doro, Dave discovers a strange weakness on her so he decides to take advantage of that.
The intention really was, once, to 'work things out'.
FICMAS- 'Dave and his unrequited love and devotion towards James, in various stages of his life.'
Heading into his 20-year high school reunion, Kirk is anxious. Yeah, he's sort of excited to see some of his old buddies, but he can't stop thinking about one person, in particular.
Will Dave be there? Will he remember Kirk? And if he does, what will Kirk say?
After the harrowing events of 'It Lurks', Dave and David's lives have been changed forever as they struggle to let go of those few days spent in the forest. But through a series of unfortunate events, they are forced to consider the possibility that more, worse monsters may exist...and they may be out for blood.
Furry AU.
People tend to say cats and dogs don't get along, but that rule doesn't apply to Doro Pesch. Falling in love with that beautiful british coyote was probably the best thing it happened to her. And Lita feels the same about that cute european lioness.
(Set during 1989)
This is just smutty fluffy sweet femslash (with a brief mention of a past het relationship)
James wonders when it happened. Where along the line he became someone who meted out punishment with his fists; someone that he didn't recognize.
He's in the shower alone with his thoughts when he realizes that it was never really about Dave, not any of it.
James wakes up handcuffed to the bed and screams for help. When Dave Mustaine shows up, he never wished before to be more alone.
It’s really fucking annoying how one self-deprecating remark can disarm Dave’s entire arsenal of insults. What’s even more annoying is the fact that James is laughing with Kirk, not at him. The only logical conclusion is that they’re both laughing at Dave. He feels the tips of his ears turn red.
You live in a world of fantasy. You live in a web of deceit.
On their camping trip, Dave and Junior want two things: to get high and to get away with it. But the park has other plans for the two, or, more specifically, what lies within it.
“It’s really a shame. You seem like a good cop. But you made a fatal mistake. I just can’t forgive it.”
I just stare at the wood grain in my desk.
“I’ll be upstairs if you need me. And please,” I hear him grip my door handle but I still don’t look up. I can’t.
“…try not to need me.”
the prison AU no one asked for.
- This is the last trolleybus for today. Good for us that we didn`t miss it.
Dave wants to get his first record made. Jimmy Page offers him a way to make that happen. There's just one little thing he has to do.
Expecting having to keep his former guitarist from killing his current one, James stumbles over something else entirely that forces him to confront his feelings for Kirk.
"I remember going down on you. You didn't last long." He stepped one foot between James', moving the guitars out of the way so that their bodies touched. "And I seem to remember you doing the same for me... but I was rough on you."
James blushed harshly. Kirk's hand tickled his skin and he wondered where it would travel to once it made its way up his arm. "Yeah, you were. It's okay." Kirk was peering intently into his eyes.
"I know it's okay. Because you liked it."
