In the spring of 2005, Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield leave behind the noise of the studio for a road trip across the Pacific Northwest. What starts as a break from creative burnout becomes a winding journey through old memories, unresolved tension, and the kind of quiet honesty they’ve never given each other before. Some truths only surface when the road runs out.

If they could even be considered holds.
