Wanting to explore his submissive side, something not easily done as a touring musician, Adrian Smith joins an exclusive BDSM club as part of its pool of unattached subs, not knowing that his newest bandmate Bruce Dickinson is a Dom and a longtime member of the club. And Bruce is surprised and intrigued when he sees Adrian in the sub pool.
Finding other shifters in the metal scene wasn't all that hard, really. It made a certain kind of sense; metal was for the outliers, the weirdos, the freaks. And what made you more of a freak than the ability to shed your human skin, to become something else? [Complete]
1992. Dave and Janick find out that Bruce is planning to leave the band, and are both upset about it.
Also, Dave gets anxiety attacks during heavy thunderstorms, and Janick is there to comfort him.
This is granting a Ficmas Wish! The prompt: Iron Maiden — Modern day. Bruce is unreasonably hostile to janick causing Steve to severely reprimand him - because Steve has feelings for Janick.
(Janick Gers/Steve Harris)

“Are we ever gonna have a repeat of Ipswich?”
He couldn’t be positive in the low light, but he was ninety percent sure that a flustered flush had taken over Steve’s face, the bassist looking away, looking down at the floor as he took a deep breath in through his nose and tried not to be obvious about it. Didn't expect to be asked so bluntly, did you, Steve? Planning on playing innocent?
“Wot, a punch up?”
Bruce couldn't help but chuckle at that, subtly rubbing his knee against Steve's and delighted when Steve didn't withdraw.
“Hoping we could skip that bit, truth be told."
Sequel to Locking Antlers
Upon the release of Dance of Death in 2003, the members of Iron Maiden write up little bios about each other for the band website. Bruce decides that not being assigned to write about Steve is a missed opportunity.
Two young men form a relationship whilst working aboard a Hudson's Bay Company merchant vessel.
“Oh, I've missed you,” he freely confessed, leaning back into Steve's body as firmly as Steve was leaning into him, removing one hand from the dresser to reach up behind his head and dig his fingers into Steve's loose curls. They were words Steve almost never said—he just wasn't sentimental like that—but the feeling was reciprocated if the line of messy kisses up the side of Bruce's neck were anything to go by.
Someone on Reddit dropped a challenge to write a story using Iron Maiden song titles - this bit of silliness is the result.
Adrian had a goatee now. Abstractly, he was aware of that fact, but it had been quite some time since he’d seen the man in person, and it was just such a strangely visual reminder of how much time had elapsed. Much the same way Bruce’s short-cropped hair was the second reminder, his former singer exploding onto the stage in a fury of energy that hadn’t waned in the slightest since they’d met nearly twenty years earlier.
Christ, had it really been that long?
Stephen Percy Harris was an absolute bastard.
Bruce was intimately familiar with that fact, and said as much to the man’s face on a regular basis, both in the studio and out of it. But Steve really was taking it to a whole new level with this.

Dave's confession leads Janick to an unexpected decision.
God, Bruce loved that little sound, knew exactly what Steve looked like when he did it, the singer sliding his gaze up to watch Steve bite his bottom lip and look down at Bruce with heavy-lidded eyes.
Bruce had been in more than enough fights in his life; it was an unfortunate side effect of being a small lad in an all-boys boarding school for much of his childhood and teen years, but he made damn sure that whatever he might have lacked in pure brute strength, he made up for in skill, and when that didn’t work, cleverness.
Which was why, when Steve yanked on his shirt again to smack him against the wall a second time, Bruce lifted his hands from where they had been gripping ineffectually at Steve’s biceps to grab either side of his head, fingers tightening hard against Steve’s skull, to jerk him forward and kiss him.
