1999. Jeff Pilson is left bleeding from impact following George Lynch's departure from Dokken. As far as he is aware, everything between them is over. The passage of time has sided with Reb Beach, but is not enough to keep him from feeling lost and scared when faced with changing bands again -this time while out of contact with Kip Winger. When Reb finds himself joining Dokken and Jeff finds himself adapting two new styles into one to move the band forward, they both realize that their work together goes beyond writing as a guitar and bass team. The night Reb falls off the stage after attempting the move of sliding across the floor on his knees turns into a series of events! Twisting his shoulder funny won't stop him from playing guitar, and the physical injury is nothing compared to the injury his pride takes, but it makes getting through the rest of the night after the show a challenge. Luckily, after his own experiences Kip is more than willing to help him through it, and knows how to treat both forms of hurt.
