...things went like that to some degree for all of them, in their own personal travelling Neverland.
Its been said Mick and Nikki met once before. What if it had gone something like this?
The more things change... the more things change.
Circa 1992 or '93.
"We’ve always shared – everything. You haven’t now. He doesn’t know why. So he has to guess.”
Slippery hands, slippery back, all the muscles tense but controlled like an animal waiting to spring.
Nikki wakes up in an unexpected situation.
It had been five-and-a-half years since they’d been together. Three, other than for official business, since they’d spoken. The empty space that the lack of those things left went bone deep. He felt it more in Mick’s presence than from hundreds of miles away.
Nikki wanted what he had always wanted. What he’d – no, they’d – had, off and on again for so many years and let slip away. The End. But now it didn’t have to be, did it? They’d have the opportunity to reconnect, to play and perform together again during the Stadium Tour.
...The look he got! As if he’d offered to defile Mick’s beloved Isabella and piss on his shoes. Bring on the old man drama.

AKA, when your partner can't get it up.
